Give me a V dot the I curve the C-T-O-R-Y!!!
I have to admit I have hesitation even writing this - don't want to jinx it - But last night was the first night in 7.5 months that neither Chris and I arose from our flannel sheets to replace a binky, change a diaper, rub a forehead, or rock a Brady!! Brady slept through the night -it could be that he learned to roll over last week and Chris and I have populated the crib with MULTIPLE binkies just in the hopes that he will roll over and get it himself - and do wonders ever cease!! Everyone raise your glasses!! I can only hope and pray that this is a trend and sticks!

A Lump of Coal NO MORE!!!
So last Wednesday (both kiddos are home with Dad) Chris emails me at work and proceeds to tell me that in the 3 hours that I have been at work Brady has rolled over, is now standing, passed his drivers test, and oh yeah got married! Ahhh good ol' hubbie really knows how to ease the Mother's guilt! Anywho - Brady boo is on the movement circuit! He learned to roll and stand (well lean against something!) all within the day.....we will see if it takes off from here - let the chaos begin!!
No choice in the matter....
They never saw it coming - and now there is no choice but to comply with their fatha'..... So it appears Daddy has laid some groundwork with them - Apparently Mom needs to step it up and instill a little windy city fever in their blood..... They might be all sporting the old english D for now - but my goal is to have them all (well maybe not Dad - he might be too far gone at this point!) doing the superbowl shuffle in a few years!!

5 year old Bday party or PROM???
So Brooke was invited to a neighbors bowling b-day party the other day. Bowling?.... you say for a three year old? I know I was on the same page - but why not give it a whirl....Anything to get Chris and I back in the Alley :) - I mean what better place for a three year old than a smoke infested bowling alley with balls heavier than her that she is suppose to hurl down a greasy slippery lane! We envisioned chaos as well - but what a pleasant surprise, they have thought of everything!!! (they meaning those people who we despise after we ponder "Why didn't I think of that!") So for lil' folks they have a ramp that they can roll the ball down and it hits the pins every time! What a great invention! Could this possibly allow Chris and I to revisit one of our old pastimes without planning on a babysitter 12 weeks in advance? We sure hope so! A mist the bowling frenzy that Brooke was enjoying was another revelation.....Brooke is growing up before our eyes!!! Brooke and the birthday boy are always very chummy when we get them together and it was no less apparent at the bowling alley - they walked around hand in hand and cheered each other on - it was absurd to watch - I felt like if "wonderful tonight" by Eric Clapton came on they would have started slow dancing underneath the cosmic bowling neon lights....
In other news Brady boy is doing good - surely not giving any rest for the weary.....but hopefully we are shaking this cold for good - I look forward to a good nights rest soon! He got his first two teeth - not yet apparent in the pic - but they are there! He sits up unattended now and loves to chew on everything in sight!

While the kids are away the Adults will play!!
The one weekend we need to head out to Grand Haven to unload the kids at grandma's house it is absolute BLIZZARD conditions! So despite the tretrerous driving conditions and a few cancellations (bummer we missed you guys!!) we were still able to pull off the 3rd annual Munson Theme party! Each couple came representing a country with food and beverages to boot from their homeland! Kudos to everyone and their great costumes - everyone really stepped it up this year! Only 363 days left until next year Nicole! Here are some peeps representing their countries!
The Allen's from Kahzakstan (and no its not cuz of the movie Borat - They would have totally picked that country either way!!) haha!
The Wiltjer's from Mexico - oh thank god -its not a party without something including guacamole!
The Fenstermaker's steppin' out as the Greek gods that they are!
The Kerr's dawning Matts family's true Scottish garb!
The ever so religious Munsons gave props to the Catholic Church in Italy!
The Cavanaughs decided to join us from Sweden
The Zarous from Palestine (we realize it is not a current country - but it was at one point and time!) - We let it slide :)
The Wades also braved the snowy conditions to visit us from Chi-town (opps I mean Australia!) Respectfully honoring Steve and Teri Erwin!
Thanks for everyone who joined - We had a blast!
