Mouths wide open......

These kids open their mouths and you just never know what is going to pop out....

Brady has been making us laugh lately with all his little one liners....

1. In response to me saying "wow Brady how did you know that?" "Mom, I just used my brain, geez"

2. While Brooke was leading him in some stretches for their pretend gymnastics class he responds "some stretching hurts....but it is a good hurt"

3. Because Brady still sits when he pees, Dad said "Brady get that sucker down" (in an attempt to have it hit the bowl and not the floor) Brady: "Dad that isn't a sucker it is my penis"

4. When reviewing his progress papers at his preschool conference his teacher explained that she asked him what the five senses were and he responded "Soccer, basketball, baseball, football, and I want to be batman" HAHA......perhaps a little bit of sensory work still.......

Also at Brady's preschool "conference" we learned that at school he never refuses any food, uses utensils always, and that day asked for a second helping of meatballs and rice, Interesting, since the exact OPPOSITE happens at home! grrrrrr........ She did mention he is a very good listener and talks his ear off all day long. He also is known in the classroom to repeat the "rules" to everyone (ugh oh a Brooke #2 in the making)

On the other hand the only thing spilling out of Brooke's mouth is TEETH!

She has lost three, two more loose, and her six year molars have cut through, lets just say she has a lot going on in that flapper!

Talking about my girl.....

Brooke has been growing up before our eyes lately, she is nearing the end of kindergarten and will be in school full time next year, which she has already started the countdown for. She is understanding so much lately it's almost frightening. Her favorite thing in school right now is writing, she is very excited to show her five books she has been working on to us this Friday at the kindergarten musical/tea. She is involved in lots of activities that keep mom and dad's taxi cabs running, and her social calendar puts her parent's calendar to shame! She has also been DYING for her visit from the tooth fairy, well she got her wish, today she lost #2 and and two more are swinging loose like an old front porch screen door. I have a feeling she is going to be singing "all I want for Christmas is my four front teeth!" Here are some recent photos of said events.

Here is her letter she wrote to Mr. Obama....I mean who else? It's still a bit phonetic, so basically she writes "I hope you like being president" one thing that you should do for America: "Make sure our country is safe" I think this is important "because I love our country" If we could only all be that simplistic.....I also got a mothers day book about "I love my mom because she signs me up for sports" haha.......

Some of those said sports right now are gymnastics and soccer.

And drum roll please.........First tooth lost bottom right. Today she lost top right so one big hole on the right side of her mouth. The day she lost it I think she looked at her self in the mirror every 3.4 seconds.....

That's just a brief update on my girl......
