Spring Break - Toronto - CN Tower and The Blue Jays Game.

Our second city tour was Toronto....an extremely large city with LOTS to do. While in Niagara the kids were perusing the food network channel as they often do and there was a show on grilled cheeses. They just so happened to feature one in Toronto, so we definitely added it to our "to do list" when in the city. Luckily as we were waiting for our hotel to get the room ready we had some time to go grab lunch, I took a stab in the dark and asked them if they knew where it was and ironically enough it was just a few miles up the road. Hands down our best meal on the vacation!

Here it is...a little hole in the wall, but the kids thought it was cool to find a place they were watching on TV.
I am drooling as I look at this. Mine was caramelized apples, avocado, cheddar, red onions...yum!
Next stop the CN Tower.  - We decided to do the Toronto city pass since a few of our items were included in it anyway, and we love that it forces you to do stuff you wouldn't normally do.

We rode up to the top observation deck.
View of part of the city and our hotel.

Selfie didn't really capture the scenery...
Outside on the deck.

How long do you think it took before he started climbing up the rails and before I almost had a heart attack? Correct, not long.
This was the glass bottom floor, that is always freaky to stand or lay on...

More of the city.....

Again, a sucker for the commemorative photo....this one just made us laugh.

We visited Wayne Gretzky's restaurant.
Then made our way to a Blue Jay game.
I think our kids are learning that it isn't a trip without a sporting event, luckily it doesn't take much persuading to get them to go anymore!

Grabbing a dog before we head in....
Stadium, I just added this one to show that the white boxed windows in the outfield is actually a hotel built into the stadium. A little weird, we were all waiting to see some guy in his undies brushing his teeth while watching the game.

So these were are purchased seats....
And as you can see from all the empty seats this is where we ended up.....it was a bit embarrassing, no one goes to the games.......
Brooke watches the game, but lets be honest, she is there for the snacks.
The kids also got a lucky visitor down our isle!
