Grandma and her "American Girls"

I avoided it as long as I could , not for the fact that I don't like it, but just felt like I didn't need to promote it to a certain someone who didn't necessarily request it. But the stars had aligned and all three granddaughters were in one state, one city and there was no holding back Grandma's dream of floating back in time and playing with her Ginny dolls, with none other than her own grand children in order to salvage the dreams crushed by her own daughter's uninvolvement in said doll activites.....So we went.....we dressed up.....We carried the dolls..... we ate at the Tea Party..... we purchased items....... we oohed and ahhed at all the ridiculous accessories they make for these non living creatures (it's amazing they have thought of everything!) The girls had fun, and I admit It is cute......but let's not be fooled by this circus I dubbed as the "grandparent trap" literally did not leave one stone unturned...Brooke my wallet thanks you from the bottom of my heart for not being a doll girl.....you can literally take your doll to the hospital, the hair salon, the movies, a restaurant......pretty impressive......even for this non - doll loving one. Thanks Grandma for showing the girls a good time!

The three grand daughters reunited......

Grandma and her girls....

Mommy and Brooke awaiting our fancy meal.....
Did you ever see such a fancy burger haha.....
The favorite course DESSERT!

The much practiced sniff in your nose shot....you can dress em up and take em out but they all have a little Novacek in them........

Wrapping up our meal and ready to go shopping......Luckily Brooke didn't request one thing Doll related....she asked for a scrapbook that she could remember the day with her cousins and her Grandma.....That's my girl!
The girls and their loot......did you notice the one person not holding her doll.....yup that would be mine.....point proven......
