Another year has passed and our little girl just turned 11. Holy Smokes! A lot changed this year she all of a sudden seems more mature, more responsible, more aware of other people, and do I dare even say it...... proactive about things (i.e. homework). It might be the change in school, but I have definitely noticed a shift for the good. And then on the flip side other things remain constant and steady like her happy nature, her VOLUME, her silly personality and her magnetic force to all things that are social.

Remember the maturity thing I spoke about? Well this year she wanted to take only "a couple" of girls to a paint studio because "It's too much money to have more than that" for her party. And then the constant and steady rolls in right after..... "and then since we only have two kids, we can go to eat, spoonlickers, have a sleepover etc etc etc.....) At least she is thinking it through.

They were surprised and shocked that they actually created something that was cute and in line with all those other adults!

We headed next door to Olgas for dinner.
Off to Spoonlickers for some yummys.
Back home for a sleepover. End scene.
Brooke's actual birthday fell during the week so she got to pick her restaurant of choice this year: Mongolian Grill.
She loves how they cook on the big grill and the "all you can eat portion"
