Mini vacation - Day one....

We were fortunate enough to latch onto Chris' work trip this year, as it just so happened to be in Orlando! The kids were really excited as they sort of knew what to expect from last time. I don't think they even care where we go, as long as we are staying in a hotel. They love every aspect of it, and this one did not disappoint, there was plenty to offer. We landed in FL at 10:30 am so we had a full day to explore, however landing that early meant we were up pretty early so we took it slow the first day, and by slow I mean try and do 3/4 of the things available to us.

Kids exploring the hotel grounds.....
Fun drinks while on va-ka-shan.
The hotel had bike trails that we attempted with this bike, however when Chris and I realized Brady barely reached the pedals and Brooke just ignored the pedals that we quickly turned around and exchanged for individual cruisers.

The kids were chomping at the bit to get here.....
Taking showers in the waterfalls.

Jumping for joy that they are not in school.
Discovering secret pools in the caves...
Hip Hip Hooray .....no math today.....
Testing out the water slide.....

Luckily enough our hotel was right behind "Downtown Disney" it is really a boardwalk of restaurants and shops (imagine that....another place to open your wallet) So we ventured there for dinner and Brady was in awe of the Lego displays. He just kept saying "this is really incredible" "its amazing" and Brooke kept saying "Greg has got to come here he would love it". I will have to say it they are impressive and I am glad Brady got to see it, since we opted out of LEGO LAND for the trip.
Incredible hulk was our favorite!
Bring it on.....
Buzz and Woody.
So as my daughter still refuses to pose with a "princess", Dad is the only one who will.....
They were all decked out for Halloween festivities...
waiting out our banana split......guess who got stuck waiting in line......
Beautiful sunset.....
You can go up in this hot air balloon.....our wallets opted not to......

So as the sun fell and the night life started to heat up and things like this started happening, we knew it was time to call it a night, and get the kids to bed.
